Katherine Kwok

Since joining War News Radio in the fall of 2014, Katherine has focused on issues including the relationship and conflicts between Hong Kong and China, the Iran nuclear deal, and the reconstruction efforts following the 2015 Nepal Earthquake. She believes (adamantly!) in radio journalism as a way to empower different voices and draw attention to issues underrepresented in mainstream media. Outside of War News Radio, Katherine is an honors political science major with minors in economics and computer science. She also sings in Grapevine and leads E,A,T, a club focused on exploring the cultural, historical, and political contexts of food and cooking.
