LEBANON: Boost for relatives of civil war missing

BEIRUT 07 March 2012 (IRIN) – A new legal mechanism has been proposed to deal with the issue of thousands of people who went missing during Lebanon’s 1975-1990 civil war, including locating mass graves, and identifying and returning remains to families, according to local activists.
