Anna Weber has been with War News Radio since the the fall of 2015. She focuses much of her research on women’s rights and the gender-based violence that occurs in countries all over the world today. Her love for this organization stems from its mission: to give the voices of individual people around the world a platform to speak. Outside of the lodge, Anna is a prospective double major in English Literature and Peace and Conflict Studies. She actively participates in Mountain Justice (an environment activist group), TOPS Soccer (a group that teaches disabled people to play soccer), and Students for Peace and Justice in Palestine (an activist group for Palestinian justice in Israel/Palestine). Anna also writes for Voices of Youth, a companion blog of UNICEF. Plus, she loves music and Virginia Woolf is bae.
